Coconut Monkey is a beach café and bar serving wholesome, hearty and healthy snacks, main courses, tempting desserts and treats, fresh fruit juices, and smoothies. Although the restaurant isn’t exclusively vegetarian or vegan, offering some meat dishes, a significant portion of the menu has been tailored to cater to the increasing interest in plant-based diets.

Breakfast

The Coconut Monkey is a favoured breakfast option, thanks to its convenient beachfront location. Its orientation towards the west also makes it an excellent location for enjoying sundowners. Even though the kitchen concludes its service at 5 pm, the bar continues to serve sunset drinks and snacks until 7 pm every day.

Coconut Monkey is another of the more environmentally friendly businesses on Koh Tao. All ingredients are sourced locally and are organic wherever possible. All drinks are served with bamboo or metal straws, and takeaway containers are 100% biodegradable.

The fridge at Coconut Monkey is bursting with tempting homemade treats like banana bread, carrot cake, and a range of signature ‘amazeballs’. Additionally, you have the option to purchase treats for take away, such as hummus, pesto, and mushroom jerky.
