The French Market comprises a few different businesses housed within the same series of shopfronts. Together they focus on selling high-end, quality French produce. When combined, “The Wine Cellar”, “Chez Pierrette”, “Chez Albert”, and “Snack 190” can provide all the authentic flavours of real French cuisine. You will find fantastic wines, spirits, cheeses, breads, croissants, cold-cut meats, and much more.
The French Market is a fun place to spend a little time, thanks to its petanque court that runs alongside the main building. There is a garden area where you can enjoy daily happy hours. Every couple of weeks they hold a petanque tournament, but you can play anytime. Just ask one of the staff for the balls. Seating is available on the outside terrace or inside the air-conditioned café.
Food
Breakfast there includes traditional Western options for sets, omelets, and sandwiches, as well as some croissants and fresh pastries. The French Market prides itself on the quality of its ingredients, so on the lunchtime sandwich menu, you’ll find a variety of top-quality meat cuts like Parma ham, mortadella, and salami, while cheese selections include camembert, brie, gruyere, and comté.
The French Market is active in preparing daily and weekly specialty dishes including mussels, tartiflette, raclette, cheese fondue, and roast duck. The Saturday lunch special of roast chicken and chips served with homemade aioli has become a firm favourite among locals.

A standard drinks menu comprising soft drinks, local beers, and a selection of spirits is available. In addition, The French Market has an extensive wine list offering a range of red, white, and rose options either by the glass or by the bottle.
