Pimp My Dive
Pimp My Dive is located close to Cafe Del Sol just a short stroll from all of the arrival piers. Having opened in 2013, Pimp My Dive has built a reputation for flexibility and great customer service. It is therefore popular with both tourists and more long-term locals. As one of the newer dive centres, their equipment is in great condition and is regularly serviced and updated.
As a small, family-run operation, they focus on quality and attention to detail – and this shows. The shop itself is modern and welcoming. From the moment you step foot inside you will be treated like family. The team is passionate not just about training divers, but about building relationships. They want to ensure their divers have the best possible experience – both on Koh Tao and on their future diving holidays. To that end, the team is very sociable, and customers regularly hang out with them at the shop after hours sharing beers and scuba stories.
Courses Offered
Pimp My Dive offers all PADI scuba diving courses from discover scuba diving all the way up to Divemaster, and also runs fun diving trips for divers who are already certified.
What makes Pimp My Dive Different
- In order to ensure safety and enjoyment, the maximum ratio of students per instructor at Pimp My Dive is 2:1. This makes learning much more personalised, and offers couples who want to learn to dive together their own private course.
- Courses can be taught in many languages including French, English, and Spanish.
For certified divers, the team offers bespoke fun diving trips. Unlike many other dive centres, Pimp My Dive runs alternative schedules for 3-dive trips, in addition to the standard half-day trips for 2 dives.
