Zest has been catering to the residents and tourists of Koh Tao for as long as anyone can recall, with cafes situated in both Sairee and Mae Haad. No matter where you choose to stay, you are sure to be conveniently close to one of their highly-rated breakfast and lunch establishments.
Zest brands itself as a coffee house and bakery. Anticipate delightful coffee blends, enticing pastries and cakes, along with a variety of breakfast options, sandwiches, and salads. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll be sure to like the dessert options too.
Food
For a small café, Zest has an extensive menu with breakfast options ranging from traditional sets and English Breakfasts to yoghurt, cornflakes and some classic Western favourites like beans on toast, porridge, and crepes. The sandwich and salad menus offer excellent value. The breads are freshly baked and the quality of ingredients is high. Zest special sandwiches are very popular and have been named after some of the island’s favourite dive sites.
The food at this cafe is fresh and unprocessed. If none of the salads or sandwiches take your fancy, you can make your own by selecting individual items from the à la carte options. Additionally, there is a variety of burgers and a selection of other main course dishes, including options from the vegan menu. Sweets include pastries, muffins, cakes and mousse.
Drinks
Zest sells coffees of virtually every variety and a range of teas, plus shakes, smoothies, and soft drinks. They also sell local beers.
