Escape the crowds and unwind at Serve Chilled Rooftop Bar! This hidden gem is nestled right in the heart of Mae Haad. The access stairs are located at the end of the side street next to Port Station. It can be a little trickier to find at first than many of the island’s other popular watering holes. But a visit is well worth the effort for those seeking a peaceful escape from the traffic and bustling streets below.

Serve Chilled Rooftop Bar is a serene haven offering stunning elevated views, this makes it the perfect spot to relax with a refreshing drink while watching the sun paint the sky orange and purple as it retreats over the horizon for the evening. The bar catches the cool sea breeze. There are comfy beanbags, hammocks, deckchairs, and table service, so you don’t need to get up! The relaxed & tranquil vibe is further enhanced by soft ambient lighting, chilled(and low-level) music, and plenty of tropical plants.

Admire The Stars

However, what makes this venue unique is its resident Telescope. So, if you enjoy a bit of star-gazing, this is the place for you! The moon is visible most nights, as are hundreds of star constellations. On particularly clear evenings and at the right time of year, you can see Saturn and Jupiter. Ask the owner for the special adaptor, if you would like to take photos through the telescope with your phone.

Alongside Draft Tiger, regular beers, spirits, fruit shakes, and soft drinks, Serve Chilled Rooftop Bar offers a range of UNIQUE (Space Themed) Signature Cocktails, all crafted with fresh local fruits, flavors, and homemade syrups. Each is designed to tantalize your taste buds and provide a refreshing island twist. Highlights include the Orion, the Supa Nova, and the ever-popular Betelgeuse (Beetlejuice). Anyone lucky enough to view Saturn through the Telescope (it’s not always visible!), is offered the classic “Saturn” cocktail at a special price. Sunset Happy Hours run daily until 7 PM, offering discounts on all alcoholic drinks.
