Drinks
As is the standard of any sports venue, Choppers Sports Bar has a fully stocked bar of local and craft beers and ciders, selected draught beers, wine, spirits, and shots. As an Australian-owned bar, there is a ‘down under’ theme. From the name itself to the décor and ‘mates rates’ happy hour that runs daily from 4 pm – 7 pm.
Food
The Bar serves a range of Thai and Western food from their in-house restaurant called The Grubhouse. You don’t have to go hungry while enjoying a couple of “schooners” and cheering for your favorite team. Classic pub grub dishes include burgers, fried chicken, nachos, fish and chips, and traditional Aussie ‘chicken parma’. While Asian favourites include the usual curries, noodles, and rice dishes.
Top Nights Out
Live sports aside, Choppers Sports Bar is also a live music venue hosting a range of local and Western artists throughout the week. The bar is home to the Koh Tao Pub Crawl, so you can expect particularly big crowds every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Alternatively, if you would prefer a more chilled-out evening, you can kick back with a few drinks and make use of the free pool table. The venue hosts regular quiz nights and jam sessions. The jam sessions are called Jam Jar and are hosted by George Street in the upstairs bar.
