Co-working is becoming an increasingly popular way to work. As the digital nomad community continues to grow, co-working spaces have been popping up all over Southeast Asia. If you are not familiar with the concept of co-working. It’s an arrangement where several workers from various companies and online industries share an office space. 

Tao Hub

Many cafés on Koh Tao are happy to let you hang out and use their Wi-Fi. There are only a few dedicated co-working spaces. One is called Tao Hub and is located in Mae Haad. It’s just off the road that leads down to the Songserm pier. It comprises one large open-air working space and two smaller air-conditioned offices. Members can sign up for daily, weekly, or monthly use, and the premises are open 24 hours. Those who work in alternative time zones can easily be accommodated. 

Tao Hub’s co-working space houses a mixed community of digital workers. They are copywriters, graphic designers, social media managers, coders, programmers, and app designers. A portion of the community consists of permanent residents. Some of the others are digital nomads transiently exploring the island in search of a rapid and dependable internet connection. They are searching for a setting that is more captivating than the usual café or restaurant atmosphere.

Tao Hub co-working space has a great community vibe and offers an optional team lunch for 100THB. This is served at 1 pm daily. There’s also a chillout area where members can relax and chat. They have a drinks fridge to purchase refreshments, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Moe, the delightfully cheerful proprietor, generously offers her homemade hibiscus iced tea to all colleagues at no cost. Members regularly socialise and dine together outside of the workday. Tao Hub is a great option for those looking for a practical working environment with the benefits of ready-made island friends to hang out with.
